PocketCampus apps are fully native on iOS and Android, delivering the speed, simplicity, design, and advanced features users expect from a high-profile app—ensuring maximum efficiency and comfort.

Web App

PocketCampus is also available as a responsive web app, optimized for desktop, featuring the same centralized access and single sign-on experience as the mobile app.

A new app is created for your institution, with your name, logo, and colors. We then deploy and maintain your app on the Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android), under your name (if you have developer accounts).

Communication with Your Information Systems

PocketCampus typically communicates with information systems via web services.

Some existing information systems are supported out of the box, such as Microsoft Active Directory (Entra) or LDAP for Directory, Canon uniFLOW for Mobile Printing, Moodle for Course Material, Polyright Cashless for Campus Card, and more.

Users Authentication

In general, PocketCampus is very flexible in terms of authentication, and adapts to your existing system. Some systems like Switch edu-ID, OIDC, Microsoft Active Directory (Entra), and LDAP are supported out of the box. User credentials can otherwise be stored securely on-device, for SSO purposes.

Architecture & Security

The PocketCampus platform is composed of the native mobile app on iOS and Android, a desktop Web app, and a server part. The server part communicates with your information systems and forwards the information back to the mobile and web apps.

All the communication between the PocketCampus server and the apps is done via a secure HTTPS connection and the PocketCampus server never stores any user private data.

The PocketCampus server can be hosted in the cloud or in your infrastructure. It communicates with your information systems via secure connections.
